My two months at Camping Village Isolino on Lake Maggiore were an incredibly enriching experience. I had the opportunity to work as an animator and gather many new impressions.
The tasks were varied and exciting. In addition to children’s and youth animation, daily fitness sessions like Pilates and sports such as volleyball were part of my responsibilities. In the evenings, I was involved in the entertainment program – from the mini disco and hosting evenings like quiz nights to rehearsing and performing musicals such as Moana. The direct contact with guests, meaning public relations, played a major role and was just as important as planning and implementing the various program points.
Through daily communication with guests, I was able to significantly improve my language skills – especially my Italian, but also my English benefited greatly.
The collaboration with our international team was very instructive. Besides work, I was able to enjoy the beautiful nature around Lago Maggiore and immerse myself in Italian culture.
This time was not only a great professional gain but also a valuable personal experience. I made new friendships, learned a lot, and collected memories.
