Lena Frießer, 4HLWa

On the 19th of October 2026, the classes 4HLWa, b, and c went on an exciting bus trip through Scotland. Early in the morning, we started our journey and were full of passion for the day ahead. Our first destination was the breathtaking Scottish Highlands. There, we went on a hike to a beautiful waterfall surrounded by nature. The landscape was impressive, with green hills and fresh air, and we took many photos to capture these special moments. Everyone enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the time spent outdoors.
Afterwards, we continued our journey by bus to a small and charming village called Dunkeld. We walked around the village for a short time, explored the area, and admired the traditional Scottish buildings. It was a nice opportunity to experience a quieter and more local side of Scotland.
Our next stop was The Hermitage, where we visited the famous Queen’s View. From there, we had a stunning view over the surrounding landscape, which left many of us speechless. The natural beauty of the area made this stop one of the highlights of the trip.
Later, we travelled to Perthshire, where we spent our lunch break. We split up into groups and were enjoying our meals together, talking and relaxing after the busy morning. Two hours later we set off for the city of Perth. In Perth we once again divided into groups and visited the museum as well as different parts of the city. We learned a lot about Scottish history and culture while exploring the town.
After this successful and memorable trip, we returned to Edinburgh by bus in the late afternoon, tired but happy and full of great impressions.
