On the 15th of November 2022, the second and third forms of the HLW and HLK of our school as well as the 3FW with their English teachers went to see the play “Unacceptable” in the Orpheum Graz. It was presented in original English by the Vienna English School Tours.
The plot revolves around two teenagers in a psychiatric ward, presenting their mental problems, like anger issues and panic attacks and showing the healing process initiated by their therapists through a series of musical and drama sessions.
I liked the plot, the play was well performed, the story easy to follow although presented in English. A thrilling and emotional experience I really enjoyed. It gave an insight into teenspecific problems, and as such, was a perfect mirror of our own teen reality. I would definitely recommend this play to other classes!
